Kosova’da kurulan yeni Hükümet’in Kosova halkının refah ve esenliğine katkı getirecek projeleri biran önce hayata geçirmesini, hukukun üstünlüğü ve tüm toplulukların birlik ve bütünlüğü çerçevesinde reform çabalarını hızlandırmasını ve bölgedeki sorunların diyalog yoluyla çözümlenmesi doğrultusunda yürütülecek çalışmalara katkı sağlamasını bekliyoruz.

Türkiye, geçtiğimiz günlerde kuruluşunun üçüncü yılını kutlayan Kosova Cumhuriyeti’nin bağımsızlık ve toprak bütünlüğü ile çok etnili, çok kültürlü ve demokratik yapısının bölgesel barış ve istikrar bakımından elzem olduğuna inanmaktadır.

Köklü tarihi, kültürel ve sosyal ilişkilere sahip olduğumuz ve Avrupa-Atlantik yönelimini desteklediğimiz Kosova Cumhuriyeti’ne her alanda sağlamakta olduğumuz katkı önümüzdeki dönemde de devam edecektir.

We welcome the election of the new President and the formation of the new Government through a vote of confidence at the session of the Kosovo Assembly held on 22 February 2011. We are particularly glad that the representatives of the Kosovar Turkish Community are also present in the new Government.

We expect the newly formed Government in Kosovo to realize the projects that will contribute to the prosperity and well-being of the Kosovar people, to speed up the reform efforts in the framework of rule of law and integration of all the communities, and contribute to the future efforts for the solution of problems in the region through dialogue.

Turkey believes that the independence, territorial integrity and multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, democratic structure of the Republic of Kosovo that has recently celebrated the third anniversary of its foundation are essential for regional peace and stability.

We have deeply rooted historical, cultural and social ties with the Republic of Kosovo and support its Euro-Atlantic orientation. The contribution we provide to the Republic of Kosovo in all the areas will continue in the period ahead.
